I am inspired by the oceans and coastlines that define our fragile planet. I have always been obsessed with the beach and all that is related to the ecstatic feeling of "beach bliss". The warm summer days and the chilly, windswept, winter afternoons alike, inspire me to be a better human. My relationship with the ocean has taught me how to respect our planet and appreciate its sheer beauty. The ocean can make me feel stronger one day and humbled the next. There is a unique duality found in the ever-changing face of the ocean. Somewhere between peace and tempest is the springboard from which I can enjoy the process of creative expression. Whether my artwork depicts a fantastical dream or a fear-filled nightmare, I am certain the ocean will inspire me as long as I can hold a thought and continue to experience unique things in nature.
